Great until you have to cancel

Service was fairly good the entire time. Internet was decently fast and reliable and had dish service bundled. The problem arose when I had to cancel. I cancelled in may and turned in all equipment. Three months later I am now getting a bill for my dish DVR. (Which I turned in). It is next to impossible to find out who to talk to about the issue. I called dish and they say call windstream and windstream says call dish. In the meantime the windstream associate is incredibly rude and hung up when I requested a supervisor. So now I am stuck with a bill WHEN I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE EQUIPMENT IN USE.

I want my bill resolved as I don't currently even have the dish equipment. It was turned in.

Horrid! Terrible! Dishonest! Worst possible!

Have been paying for Windstream's "high speed" internet service for almost 10 years. Minimum guaranteed is supposed to me 3 mbps. Averaging about 1.8 mbps, speed right now at .17 mbps. When I complained they stated the system was on old copper lines and they would not fix it because "it will just break again", so don't try and call again because nothing will be done. Customer relations supervisor was contacted and he only confirmed what I had already had been told. He further stated the company was not going to invest in either repairs or updates, recommending I find another provider. Only problem is there is no other provider that can provide service in my area, not even cellular or satellite. Twenty-seven days ago a tree feel during a storm, taking down telephone and power lines. Power was restored in about four hours, phone (data) cables still on the ground and my temporary feed has loads of static on the phone and internet speed of .05 mbps. Can open Google, which they state is all that is required of them, but every inquiry (apps) time-out or give error message. Cannot find anyone who will give me any relief. I am a disabled law enforcement officer (military veteran) who must conduct financial and medical business online due to lengthy drive times and facility availability. There has to be others out there with the same problem, I pray for you!

Tv cable out going on 5 days. I gave called numerous times. Told my ticket would be escalated...techs not available..pass the buck each time.. no excuse to be without service 5 to 6 days who knows

Called 7/25 when service went out. Today is 27th and no results. Called numerous timesnknly tove told lies. No excuse ...i am in Hiawassee Ga.., i will contactGa. PSC..,as i kniw of your problems but as long as i am paying for service i expect it. 6 days without my TV at 80 years old is stressful just thinking about it. Employees are not trained to help us only give excuses and sorry.Wibdstream needs attention. Fix my cable.

Monday to Wed now Friday. And when we call to check status they put us on hold and then drop the call.

Horrible customer service

Kinetic TV service I have been without service continuously. Your customer service phone representatives are incompetent, non professional and downright mean. I have called numerous times. With no resolution. Calls disconnect, long hold times, and routed to incorrect departments. I had a work order ticket for today 07/01/19 Dony came and said he had no access so left. I was home. In fact canceled appointments to be here for technician as need this resolved. No proper notations were made on my account. I in fact well over a week ago had an over an hour conversation with a Jacob trying to troubleshoot the issues to no avail and he submitted this work order ticket. I am furious with you saying I am a valued customer and treating me so horribly. I have been with Windstream for over 4 years. First with only home phone and internet and those two services are lacking. Yet and still added this Kinetic TV to have some cable service. As only had Netflix. It has been a living nightmare. And still problems. I am fed up. But have no other choice than to use Windstream as you are all my apartment complex licenses with. I expect to be contacted regarding this matter ASAP. It is unfair.

Windstream home phone service never works and delays in repairs!

My telephone service went out June 29, 2019, it's still out, no dial tone on any telephones, and I cannot call 911! I am an older adult with a husband who has many medical issues. I am told the service will not be restored until a week or so from now, maybe middle of July. I need help? This is the only telephone service I have and can afford. I am in desperate need of service.

Poor Customer Service and Poor Technical Support

I recently experienced an outage of "Caller ID" on my residential landline and I reported it to Tech Support people on Friday, 21 June. I was told that it would be fixed on 24 June. I took a day off from work to be present for the technician. I was told late on the 24th that repair would now take place on the 26th of June. On the 26th, nobody showed up, and now my landline doesn’t work. Multiple calls to Tech Support has not worked. Within the last two years, Windstream has FAILED on every technical call, every shipment and every transaction.

Long Distance

Our long distance service has been out for over two months. We have been told repeatedly that the issue has been resolved. Ironically, we can dial Windstream's toll free number, but no other long distance numbers.

Failure to refund upon termination of service

Switched to a new carrier on March 11th 2019. Have requested a refund due to me and all I am told is that Windstream need proof of port. Windstream obviously approved the port or I would not be with the new carrier. Does Windstream have such a financial problem - judging by the stock price, this may be so. Case #CAR0000196543

The internet service in cairo georgia is terrible . It has been out twice this month for several days each time. The phone is also out. It takes several days before it is fixed. Enternet is always very slow and goes out a lot. I am very unhappy with this service

Worst experience ever

Windstream - Worst experience ever
Today, I had appointment for installation from two weeks ago. Yesterday, I got text saying confirmed for installation. Next, I got text saying it would be between 8am-12pm. It is now 5 pm, and two techs have been out, looked, and left without a word. I have called customer service and no one seems to know anything. Not impressed! This is my only day off and have sit here all day, waiting, for nothing.
