After several months of poor service and poor customer service I decided to disconnect my service. A week later the disconnect still had not happened.
When I called in about the matter I was treated rudely. I was told that the disconnect was scheduled for the next day and that the date could not be changed. When I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold and then the agent came back to tell me that the supervisor said that the date could not be changed. When I insisted upon speaking with someone, I was hung up on.
This is not the first time I was hung up on by Windstream agents. They do not seem to care about their customers and seem to think that it is appropriate to just hang up on dissatisfied customers rather than resolve issues.
