Our number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. Even so, we have received multiple robocalls from a number identified on Caller ID as "844-852-**** / Windstream." Every single time, I have called Windstream immediately afterward to report and/or verify it.

**Not one person** in the organization, including an alleged "supervisor," can confirm that this is a legitimate outreach by them. Further, they note that I am, in fact, on Windstream's *own* do-not-call list for internal marketing purposes, which should have stopped anyone working for Windstream from calling us. The "supervisor" seemed far more interested in pawning me off on the FCC's 800 number, which would be just about as useless as Windstream's customer service at this point (not to mention, counterintuitive - if it really is a Windstream number, does the supervisor seriously want her own employer reported to the FCC for violating the Do Not Call list, as well as their own noted policies? Not very bright for a "supervisor.")

So far, my reports have supposedly been escalated to the aforementioned supervisor (unhelpful and uninterested), the "Care Team" (no evidence of its existence), and a "team leader" (unknown and unheard from), for investigation.

Thus far, I have received absolutely no response, nor a call back Windstream (the real ones) with any information whatsoever.

I can only conclude that **IF** this is a legitimate marketing effort by Windstream, it is one of the most poorly thought out means of encouraging "customer loyalty" ever conceived (harassing and angering your own customers does NOT invite loyalty or repeat business). If it is a scam being perpetrated in Windstream's name, the company itself is apparently completely unbothered by the prospect, and not inclined to take any action on their end to look into it.

Reason of review: Total Incompetence and Corporate Indifference.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Windstream Pros: Reading the negative reviews.

Windstream Cons: Blasted near everything, Being stuck with this company, Internet in and out, Customer service and disconnects, Speed.

More than likely someone spoofed Windstream's number and they ahve no idea or can do anything about it. Not Windstream's fault..try ignoring it like most people do.

Please don't tell me that your entire effort consisted of a few telephone calls. That is the single least effective known method for obtaining results ( with the possible exception of e-mails, which are easier to ignore ).

Block the number, ignore the calls, or use one of my favorite tactics : the Hungarian Grandma who doesn't speak passable English and doesn't hear well ... to wit : (Ring ring) "AAAlllllooo ?! WHA ? You sat WHA ?

! NO ! NO !

( be sure to use a screechy voice ) or just ignore and/or block the number. I enjoy ignoring telephone calls ; you have the ultimate control, not them.
